Performing the Sunat Tarawih prayer during Ramadhan is highly encouraged, as it can only be done during the special month. The prayer can be performed alone or with other congregants to earn rewards promised by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

In the Belait District, the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque was the focal point for congregants to perform the prayer and Tadarus Al-Qur'an. Tadarus Al-Qur'an is a highly encouraged practice to enliven the Sunnah of the blessed month.

Meanwhile, the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque was the focus for congregants to perform the Sunat Tarawih prayer in the Tutong District. Several students and graduates of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute are placed at selected mosques throughout the country, including Tutong District, to lead the Sunat Tarawih prayer.

Muslims in the Temburong District are also glorifying the holy month of Ramadhan and earn multitude of rewards. The Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town was the focal point in the district.
